Farmaseuttin palkka

Pharmacists complete a three-year bachelor's degree at the universities of Helsinki or Eastern Finland. The profession is licensed — Fimea maintains the register — and operates within Finland's legally protected pharmacy monopoly: only licensed pharmacists with a further master's degree (proviisori) can own a pharmacy.

Yliopiston Apteekki is the largest single employer; private pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, and pharmaceutical companies make up the rest. The Apteekki-TES collective agreement sets base pay starting below €2,900/month, rising with seniority. Advancing to proviisori — requiring a master's degree — raises earnings to roughly €4,000–4,800/month and opens ownership and management paths.
